One of the last frames I was able to grab before my camera started falling apart on me. Thankfully it was the last day before we were leaving, and oddly enough when we got back into the US my camera was 100% functional again. Been shooting with if for the past 5 months with no problems.

A condensed version of the series just went up on my website under the gallery “God Bless the Indian Summer”. Can’t even begin to say how much I appreciate all of the kind words and support from you guys, already planning to go back next year to hang with some of these kids again.

Our friend Praveen told us about a woman that lived on a bridge in Kakinada that was 135 years old, and at first I really wasn’t buying it at first. After we met her living under a tarp on the middle of a bridge and talked to her for a little bit, I was a believer. She prayed over everyone that was with us, and told me that her secret to long life was to pray everyday.
